Willow Tree is an intimate line of figurative sculpture that speaks in quiet ways to heal, comfort, protect and inspire. Susan Lordi handcarves each original figure.

Expression is revealed through gestures only...a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. Simplicity of form and the absense of facial features signify Willow Tree.

Many of Susan's new sculptures are about love-sharing love, being surrounded by love and experiencing love-with all its universal appeal. Her classic forms and gestures are Willow Tree's signature style, but her carving technique and use of new materials and finishes are ever-evolving.....
